Rust, grime and decay
Evening All, I am trying to work my way through the book- but hit a snag. On page 188 I have opened the sign- using the Alpha channel, but when I try to add "lighting effects" it is greyed out. If I switch to RGB I can use the lighting effects but the sign is no longer visible. Hav'nt found a way around it. Any help appreciated. Oncemore |

You've almost got it. The lighting effects aren't applied to the alpha channel, they're applied to the blank layer. In the Lighting effects dialog, choose Alpha 1 as the Texture Channel, you will see the effect in the preview window. _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |
