panorama
I put this together from 4 photos taken in the western US (Columbia River Gorge) on a drizzly overcast day. I selected the mountains to create a new layer which I flipped to create more of a reflection in the water than there was and increase the saturation. Comments please.  |

It's a very nice panorama, mguyer, although I suspect there is some lens distortion which is why coastline looks like it's bowing in the centre and the colour is still a little too dull and flat with a slight redish cast. 
Here I applied the Filter/Distort/Pinch... filter at 10% to straighten up the horizon. I also duplicated the panorama layer above the original layer and set it to a Blending Mode of Color then applied Guassian Blur of 5 pixels and then Ctrl+U to bring up the Hue & Saturation dialogue box and increased the Saturation to +20 which improves the colour saturation without overdoing it. I also created another duplicate of the original layer above the Color layer and applied Filter/Other/High Pass... set to 2 pixels and then changed it Blending Mode to Hard Light which sharpens the detail without giving whiteish artifacts. _________________ mad as a badger and twice as furry |
