FleshTone swatch
Whilst borrowing the eyes from the disc (Page 92 rev:3) I noticed a file named Fleshtone swatch. I a curiosity moment I double clicked on it and it opened PS then... nothing! What does it do and how can I use it? (I do hope Steve doesn't tell me the fill description is on Pxxx and I've missed it again!) Ted |

Re: FleshTone swatch
It's a swatch file to be used with your Swatches pallete. There are 4 colours to be used in creating realistic skintones from black and white photographs. It's to be loading into your "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Presets\Color Swatches" directory copy the file there (presuming you have loaded Photoshop to C: drive, if not change the drive letter to the relevant drive where PS is on your computer) Next time you boot up Photoshop you can access the Skintones Swatch File from your Swatches Palette by clicking on the flyout menu button (top right round button with the black arrow on) _________________ mad as a badger and twice as furry |

Thanks Maiden that was useful info. The swatch is now in its place though I haven't used it yet. Perhaps this weeks challenge would have been a good start! Ted |
