Smooth Edges
Hello gang! Would someone be kind enough to explain how to get smooth edges on a cut out object? For example, I remove an object from the picture using quickmask mode, but it seems like my edges are never smooth. They have a "cut out" rough look to them. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

It really depends on what you're cutting out. Quickmask works best on irregular objects where their edges are already uneven. It also depends on the hardness of the brush. I generally set it between 95-99%. You can, of course, use a feathered mask to make the edges blend more smoothly. _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |
