How do I turn an image into looking wall mounted
Hi I'm setting up a online art gallery and wanted to have my digital images appear to look wall mounted. I did know before christmas but didn't write it down and have forgot, I know I used with a bevel and dropshadow and think I used canvas size to add a white space around the image to show the slight shadow of the illusion it had been wall mounted.

Can anyone help me out

And also I don't know if I asked here before but always wanted to turn my images into boxed canvases like on this website, I asked on another forum and it seemed it was really hard to do to get it looking realistic, just wondered if you guys would know how to.
There is an example of what i mean on this website

Junipaire. Here's your original post about creating the canvas effect. The wall mount style would use the same technique (free transform)

Hi David yeah I found that straight after thanks.

But with the wall mounted, no I used before drop shadow and bevel to get this effect. Can't remember though the procedure I used.

Double click the image's thumbnail to bring up the layer styles dialog.

I've worked it out now, rejogged my memory and this time I'll write it down.

Cheers again.

When you get your box canvas "look" right, make it into an action so that all your images look the same.

I maintain a website for a company that manufactures box canvases and I have to apply the same effects to many images. Actions are a godsend especially when making a triptych box canvas from a single image
