Is There Something Else I need to Read
I have just got the book and it looks GREAT but I am starting to struggle with some of the very early and probably basic chapters. OK, I am very new to Photoshop, most of what I have done to date being correcting colours, levels, cropping and some basic combining images so that probably does not help. Is there something I need to read first (tutorial) that will hep me get the baisic in place. May sound like a stupid question but some simple basic understandings may help me. For example Page 52 the Psion and the Hand mentions Shadow, you may all laugh at me but I can not figure this bit out yet, how do you add a shadow, and I can not see it covered earlier in the book. The quick mask was a brilliant tip, this alone is worth the price of the book so I am not complaining. Any advice greatly appreciated, now stop laughing at me please...even old blokes like me have feelings. ![]() |

Thank you for this advice, which you can be assured I will be taking. I have tried some other examples with sucess so I am hooked on it. Now, I'm off out to take some photo's to play around with using some of my already new found skills. I'll get there. |
