Photoshop PDF
I often need to save PDF files, half the time no problem, but at other times. I get a file that is very enlarged, eg showing at 395% magnification, and when you try to print it, is shows up as a tiny square in the middle of the page. This is using same settings I had for an other file of similar size that worked perfectly well. Please help, it's driving me nuts. ![]() Vibeke, in Synny Nelson, New Zealand |

Re: Photoshop PDF
That's a tricky one. I assume you're not changing the settings when you export the PDF files? No, you'd have thought of that. What method are you using to exprt PDFs? Are you using a Mac or a PC? |

Re: Photoshop PDF
Hi Steve I'm using PC, In Photoshop, I flatten my image, and then save as PDF. No I'm not changing the settings, but have tried that to. There seems to be no rime or reason, why some files are saved at such a different %. I susally get so frustrated that i open the image up in Pagemaker and use PDF995. By the way I love your book, read a review on it in "Better Digital" and ordered a copy. received it a few days ago, and there are so many good things in it. I have also got Deke's Photoshop CS2 one-one one. Have been using Photoshop since about version 4. |

Re: Photoshop PDF
Vibeke, Sounds very strange. Must be some sort of system bug. Can I ask, though, why you want to save Photoshop files as PDFs? They're very large, and since Photoshop files aren't scalable, I don't see the advantage. Welcome to the forum! Glad you're enjoying the book, and I look forward to you participating in the Friday Challenges. Steve |

Re: Photoshop PDF
Good Morning, I have a customers who's newspaper ads I do. I email them PDF's for proofs, as they are nice and small, and when the system works, they print out on their computer in the correct size. They are not computer litterate, so that's seems to be the easiest way. Your book is alredy costing me money, I read the bit about upgrading (replacing) the computer, and decided you were quite right, and am now in the process of getting quotes. Vibeke |
