Multiple Photo adjustment
Often times I create a document with multiple photos. Each photograph has been adjusted on the flyer, but not saved from the original. They are not smart objects. When I select a single photograph, I can adjust it normally; such as curves, levels, etc. But when I select 2 or more photo layers, those options are gone. Currently, want to apply the same adjustment using curves on all the photos. Is this possible to do this all in one stop...or do I have to continue changing each photo manually? ...Oh, while writing this.. I've thought about creating an action to apply the affect to each photo. Maybe this is the answer I'm looking for... Hmm... ![]() ![]() |

Re: Multiple Photo adjustment
An action is one way to do it. Also, if you hold ctrl and alt while you select image -> adjustments -> curves, it will apply the last curves settings that you used. |

Re: Multiple Photo adjustment
That's a really neat tip, Brian. And very useful as well! I know I'll start using that command more often. Thanks, Chris |

Re: Multiple Photo adjustment
One way would be to add an adjustment layer on top, using the Curves you want. If you onlyt want this to be applied to the photos and not the background, then shift-ctrl-click on each layer's thumbnail in the layers palette to load up all the photos as a single selection before choosing the adjustment layer: it will then open with a mask that matches the selection. |
