Selection Off.
Hi,
I am using a tutorial in which it says "Turn off the selection" is this the same as "Deslect" The tutorial is for a soft look for portraits and in the tutorial list of do's and dont's I use the Gausian Blur.At one point I have to turn it off.It does not seem to work when I use the Ctl D short cut and I thought I might have misread the formula
Thanks,
Sam,

Hi,
Further to tha above,on rereading the formula the turing of part is just prior to the use of the blur,so it would seem that I am turning of a selection, all I want to know is HOW! sorry for posing what might appear a novice question !!!

Re: Selection Off.
When you say turn it off, do you mean hide the selection? To do that use the shortcut ctrl h.
