Corell 12 to Illustrator CS2 question
I have a logo that was created in Corell 12, and before it gets exported as an .eps file to the computer that prints the logo on the vinal, there are a couple of steps that I would like to understand how and why it happens.

With the final logo opened in Corell, I resize it to scale --> Select the logo --> Left click on 100% WHITE (in the colors pallet) --> right click on the color box with the X struck through it. --> then choose FILE, Export, .EPS, and the file is sent to the computer that prints the vinal.

When the file is received by the other computer, it only has the wireframe and no color.

My question is why do I have to click those two boxes, and can I do the same thing in Illustrator CS2? I have other logos and graphics in Illustrator, but right now I have to convert and open them in Corell 12 before I can send the artwork to that computer.

I'm sure the same process can be done in Illustrator, but I lack the understanding to be able to do so.

Thanks in advance
Chris

This freeze frame is the Corell 12 pallet and may be of some use to you all.

Thanks again!

I don't know Corel 12 well enough to help, I'm afraid. But you can set the colours in the same way in Illustrator, if that helps.
