Import txt file?
Is there anyway to merge a txt file or excel file into photoshop. I have a sheet of postcards and would like to merge names & address onto them, rather than run labels or run through the printer twice. |

I think the only way to achieve what you're asking would be to write a complex script and I'm not even sure that would work - certainly not with Excel sheets as they would have to be converted first. Your only simple method is to run them through PS then as a mail merge through Word. _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |

Thanks for replying. I didn't think it was possible but I was hoping someone had the answer. That is what I have been doing, merging them to Word and running them twice. Or running labels and having my girls label them. |

Re: Import txt file?
Surely if they're postcards, they'd have to go through twice to print the backs anyway? _________________ A happy-go-lucky chap, always dressed in black |

Hi Jnette It's fairly late and I'm a bit tired from strimming and moving a rather overgrown lawn [not mine]. You could export the/an excel/word/etc. file to pdf and then import/process them through an action. |

I am no Office expert but isn't the trick here to take the image or images from PhotoShop and bring them into say WORD or Excel and handle it all from there? SnowDog |
