black and white (not grayscale)
A while ago I posted this topic under a different name here. I need to do the same thing to a design I have, but none of the previously suggested methods seem to work. The design is for a screen print which will be used on shirts, so only one color will suffice. I have attached a picture of the problem image. If anybody could give me advice, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Helixed ![]() |

Re: black and white (not grayscale)
You're probably going to have trouble getting the look exactly the way you want it, because keeping the gradient you have there is going to be very difficult without keeping shades of gray. But here's something you can try...I'm suggesting this method since you say the other suggested methods didn't work for you: 1. Open the file in Photoshop. 2. Convert to grayscale (use your method of choice). 3. Choose Image > Mode > Bitmap. You'll be presented with several choices...you might want to try various settings in the "Diffusion Dither" method. Or...just experiment with other settings. One thing for sure is that if you go with Bitmap mode, every pixel in your file will be either black or white. No grays. *PHOTOSLOPPER* _________________ Photoshop: Not just a job, but an adventure. |
