Hall perspective
Taking on board Steve's comments about the difficulty in establishing the correct perspective I went back and rethought my last Challenge. Having now fixed the vanishing point and horizon I found the woman at the back was correct. I repositioned the plumber to the same horizon line but it still doesn't look right. What am I missing or is it really right and I can't see it? And is the painter still too small? Ted

I think my problem with the plumber is that he's now a little too short. The eyeline thing assumes everyone's the same height, and this man's clearly pretty tall! It's a tricky one to get right. The problem with your original post was that he towered over us so far that we appeared to be sitting down; now, he's just a touch diminutive. This is just me being fussy. Choose to ignore it if you like! |

I'm very glad you're fussy. It's that level of fussines that gets things right and encourages me to think about what I am doing. I was just trying to work out a formula to get things like that sorted out (if such a formula exists!) |
