Unlocking an Image
I'm trying to create a Calendar. So I open a Template ( PSD) .I open the image (JPEG) .I go to the Move and drag Tool and try to move the image. But I get the message "The Layer is locked". Ive tried clicking on the "Lock" on the Layers palette but it is "Greyed out". Ive tried clicking on the Lock next to the image - nothing Help please |

Re: Unlocking an Image
It sounds as if you are trying to move the background layer, if you rename it by going to Layer; New layer from background, call it something else (layer 1), and then you should be able to move it. |

Re: Unlocking an Image
You can't move a background image within a single flat file, as Deborah correctly points out. But if you drag it all the way into the new template, you should find it moves OK. |
