POSER
Poser is mentioned as a very interesting modeling software, is it possible to make animations with that? |

Re: POSER
Yes, you can create animations within Poser. I've never tried so I'm not sure how easy it is. _________________ If you hold on to the past, sooner or later you'll lose your grip. |

Re: POSER
I wish I could give you more insite regarding animations in Poser, Vicho. But I've never attempted animating a character, either. I use the software in Real Estate marketing. (Take a picture of a house and drop renders of a 'poser' family waving in front of the house. Or take a picture going down the street of a neighborhood and drop a render of Dad walking with his son down the sidewalk.) Granted, there is a bit of postwork in Photoshop involved to make the renders look like real people. But mostly, I try to place them as distant as possible from the foreground for ease. I love this software primarily because I don't have to spend hours sifting and trodging through stock photos just to find out that the perfect photograph of a person in just the right pose for my marketing layout costs HUNDREDS of dollars to get proper copyright licensing! So, I choose Poser anyday compared to stock photography of people. --Chris |

Re: POSER
Poser does excellent animations, Vicho. They're not hard to set up, once you've got over the rather quirky interface. Well worth a look. |

Re: POSER
As Steve described, Poser does have a very unique interface. I'm finding something new about it everytime I open the software. My biggest peeve about the program is the Undo button. It only works for the previous change, so you can't push it multiple times to get to where you were 2 or more changes ago! ![]() Unless, there's a place I can change that setting somewhere.... ![]() |
