Anyone know much about create stencils
I would like to get into creating stencils and puttin then using acrylics on canvas. I've seen a good tutorial on http://www.stencilrevolution.com/tutorials/tutorialsview.php?id=6 just wondered if it could be done just in photoshop as although I've got illustrator I find it almost impossible to work out how to use it, wish it was more like PS. Has anyone done stencilling before and could give me any tips. Cheers Phil |

Hi Phil, There are some good tutorials on the net for creating templates for carving Halloween Pumpkins using photos, that would probably work the same for stencils, as all you are doing is cutting away the positive parts of an image, leaving the negative parts attached to the stencil... I will have a look and see if I can find one of them and reproduce it in tutorials in the next couple of days... BB |
