Mini Cooper and Pen Tool
Hello, i´m a portuguese photoshoper and i´ve a problem with the pen tool.After i select the top of the mini cooper with the pen tool (so i can be able to desaturate the roof) nothing happens. No "marching ants" only the selection i made. And when i tried to desaturate the selection i end up desaturating the entire car. Any ideas? I´ve got the brazilian edition and the "exercise" it´s on pag. 74/75. Thank´s in advance and sorry for my poor english. |

Hi Biofobico. When you get done selecting the roof with the pen tool, you will have a solid line instead of the marching ants. This indicates that you now have a path defined. Go to the tab labled "Path", and look for a path called "Work Path". Press Ctrl and click on the Work Path to select it. You will now see the marching ants selection. Dave. |

Alternatively, with the Pen tool selected press Enter to turn the path into a selection. |

Yes, the Union Jack was also a pen-drawn object. There's really no other way to create this shape in Photoshop - other than distorting an existing flag to fit the surface, of course. |
