Engraving effect
I want to take a 50 pence piece and replace the Queen's head with mine. In The Book, there's a tutorial on turning a philosopher into stone. Does anyone know if there's a way of creating an engraving? Chris |

I'm sure you're worth more than 50p Chris. Go for a two pound coin; however its done the technique will be the same. The real trick would be a convincing £20 note!! Ted |

Thanks Steve I'd tried a tutorial from another book, playing with brightness/contrast, adding noise etc, but it resulted in less detail. And then Wayne reminded me of lighting effects in Chapter 10 which worked a treat (once I'd played around with curves for a very long time!) Chris |
