Re: Content aware fill
Assuming you have CS5, there are two ways of using it:

1. Make a selection with the Lasso, or just about any tool, and hit Shift Delete which opens the dialog. Choose Content Aware from the pop-up list of options.

2. With the Spot Healing Tool, there's now a Content Aware radio button on the Options bar.

If you don't have CS5, of course, then you won't see either of these...

I use it a lot for filling in edges but one thing it gets wrong time and time again is when you have a shallow depth of field in a photo.

Content aware fill seems to have no concept of focus and will quite happily clone in parts out of focus grass along with sharp grass which looks terrible.

It does save me time as work so I always use it first then fix the problems.

Vibeke, i've just used it on this weeks challenge. Wonderful it is.

Paul, I expect to make good use of it.

Re: Content aware fill
My healing brush option bar has 2 radio buttons on the right that don't seem to do anything. Can you tell me what they do ?

Incidentally, on page 61 of How to Cheat CS5 step 5 it does say you can use the healing brush with content aware filling but shouldn't this be the Spot healing brush?
