Ring exercise from the book
I use CS2 and have also had the mask problem but double clicked the quick mask icon and set the the button to Selected Areas but still no joy I also note that when I create the elipse on the new layer the mask is shown to the side in the layers list Is this ok? |

For me at least, if you can give us a Screen Shot of your PS workspace it might help some here help resolve your problem. This might help more: and had problems with this for a long time. If you want to make centred circular/elipse selection from the centre, first press left button where you want the centre, hold, and at the same time, second press Alt Key and then drag the handles. It will expand from centre then instead of the side, at the same time drag to make elipse. I think might help? BTW I don't use Quick Mask very much, I do it it a different way, so hope some others can offer help.... |
