Quick mask
Hello, Page 199, item 4 in 100% Photoshop. I select all then enter Quick Mask but cannot paste anything since both Ctrl C and Ctrl V are grayed out. What am I doing wrong or is the instruction wrong? This is about selecting the clouds in The Great Outdoors in chapter 8. Thank You, Martti |

Re: Quick mask
Um. This shouldn't be the case. Do you definitely have something copied to the clipboard? Otherwise, can you post a screen shot showing your entire screen, with panels open, when you try this operation? |

Re: Quick mask
Hi again, Second attempt the first one probably wanished into cyber-space. As you can see Copy and Paste are grayed out so there is nothing to paste into quick mask. Thanks, Martti ![]() |

Re: Quick mask
Clearly there is an instruction missing! After Select All, you must Copy (Edit > Copy) to populate the clipboard. Then go into Quick Mask. Now you'll find that Paste is available and you can complete the exercise. _________________ Lonnie |

Lonnie, Precisely - have tried it yesterday but it still feels somehow fishy. Nevermind one does not have to understand everything, donīt worry be happy ![]() /Martti |
