Realistic sore, red skin??
One of our latest projects at college is to create a "tart card" for a font or letter of the alphabet. For those not in the know, tart cards are those cards you see in London phone boxes advertising a certain type of lady and her services...erm, if you get my drift. I plan to do a card for the font IMPACT and have a photo shoot set-up where a very understanding fellow student is going to let me take a shot of his right buttock cheek and I want to make it look like he has been slapped hard and a sore, red hand print has been left behind, with the word IMPACT in the font inside the palm print. As he is being so understanding I don't want to push my luck and actually get someone to slap his bum, so any tips on creating a realistic red slapped palm print will be greatly received. I know, you are all looking at me strangely....honestly it's for college!! ![]() |

I'd try a lot of Unsharp Mask, with a generous helping of Hue/Saturation for the redness... but then this isn't exactly something I've attempted before! |

Cheers Steve. I'll post the result if it ends up how I want it to look. |
