Colour Wheel Settings
My colour picker is as shown, which sends me round the bend, but I can't work out how to change it, either to the colour wheel or to the small colour picker as shown in the top right corner of the image. I have tried changing to the colour wheel in preferences, restarting Photoshop after, but it doesn't change. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ![]() |

Re: Colour Wheel Settings
If you're making the change in Preferences, you need to change the picker from Adobe to Apple. I suspect you've changed the HUD colour wheel, which you get by holding Ctrl Option Command. |

Re: Colour Wheel Settings
There is an excellent third party colour wheel compatible with all photoshops from CS6 onwards including all the CC's. It offers a mass of different options from triangular and square colour wheel to bars, sliders or both. It can be dragged to any size or even be made to pop up on mouse over. It costs 19$. I have used it for a couple of years now. Having finally decided to upgrade to CC18 I can confirm that it works fine with CC18. http://anastasiy.com/panels. You can see the triangular wheel here which I use together with a personal rebuild of the default Adobe colour swatches. PS for some reason this link isn't working properly even though it's taken directly from the web page. However click on the link MagicPicker, colorWheel at the bottom of the page it does take you to and it will take you there. ![]() _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Re: Colour Wheel Settings
I hadn't bothered to try to use the Apple picker in preferences, So thanks for that. I tried control, option and command, but so far it hasn't worked. |
