Beginner Question
I have just started reading your book, and I am stuck on page 4, where you mention as an aside "overleaf" to reverse the selection on Quick mask. I cant find overleaf anywhere- so how can I inverse my Quick Mask selection?
I tried Alt-Click (windows) but is isnt working.
Thanks for helping out a newbie.

Re: Beginner Question
Muria,

What I meant was that, by default, QuickMask shows the unselected areas rather than the selected areas highlighted. Along with many other Photoshop users, I prefer to work the other way around, so that the area you paint in QuickMask (and which therefore is filled red) is the selected area when you exit QuickMask.

This is explained in the first paragraph on page 8, which was 'overleaf' in the first edition - but I've added a couple of pages in between in the second edition, and should have checked this out before it went to print!

Hope you're enjoying the book anyway, and do feel free to post any other questions here.

All the best

Steve

Re: Beginner Question
Thank you Steve.

I have been playing and noticed that some things were turing out backwards. I am still learning the basics of photoshop, but its tons of fun!
