Layer blending modes
Am I correct in thinking that the only way to make a blending mode permanent, is to merge it with a blank layer? _________________ A happy-go-lucky chap, always dressed in black |

Re: Layer blending modes
Yes, although it doesn't always work - some effects are often lost, particularly if you're using Layer Styles as well. A more reliable method is to turn off all the other layers, including the background, and then to a merged copy. |

Yes, I've noticed that before, when merging a lot of layers, things like hard-light go squiffy. _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |
