Help with screen coordinates
I'm a pure hobbyist when it comes to digital art and am just beginning to move to Photoshop after using PaintShop Pro for years. One of the features I'm finding that I really miss from PSP is a coordinate display at the bottom of the working window that showed the pixel location of the cursor. My Photoshop window currently displays the file size and I've found that I can change it to show current tool, timing, document dimensions and a few othere options, but nothing that would display the current cursor location in the window. I used this feature in PSP extensively for placement of objects and selections....is there any way in Photoshop to get a similar display?? I've got the rulers turned on and it helps but doesn't give me the same level of precision. |

Re: Help with screen coordinates
If you select the info palette, via Window - Info, this will give you what you need. You can change the info displayed (to pixels etc) by clicking the tiny triangle at the top right and selecting palette options. |

If you have CS2, you can also turn on Smart Guides (View/Show menu), and you'll get guidelines when the edges of two selected objects line up with each other. |
