Layer Masks 2: Transparency
I have some difficulty with step 2 - page 55. I have selected the brush but what other options are there to achieve the effects mentioned. A detailed explanation will be helpful - I know I am missing something. Thanks. |

Sekong, welcome to the forum! Step 2 is explanatory, rather than a practical exercise. The background in the practise image is already blended and merged together so nothing needs doing at this stage. In step 6, you'll need to isolate the area of the diver in the water to stop the filter affecting the whole person. Use a rectangular marquee larger than the legs. The wave filter can be a little tricky, it only needs to be subtle. Use the preview to judge the level of effect. Hope this helps. _________________ A happy-go-lucky chap, always dressed in black |
