help with website images please....
hi all!
this is kind of a bizarre request but here goes:

i'm creating my website and i have a page that will show all the links to other various websites that i visit (this will be one!). what i am wanting to do is create/capture a small image/gif of the existing sites images...put this pic on my links page...and when someone clicks it it will take them to the appropriate site.

so i am at a loss as to how capture an image i see on my screen and be able to open it in photoshop for cropping/editing/etc. i see one of my keys is prt scrn but where the heck does that go!? or is there a better way to do what i'm trying to do???

thanks!

In case you didn't know; if you copy the image (right-click & copy image). Go to Photoshop and create a new document. PS will make it the exact dimensions. You can then paste it in as a new layer.

thanks for replying david.

the problem i'm having now is that the images are getting that pixelized look, kind of blocky...i'm saving them as png's but they still look funky.

do you know a way to clear this up?

When you say you're grabbing images, is this screenshots of the entire site window or images from within?
