creating a soft highlight just to an edge of pic....?
hi all!
i have a figure that is standing next to a spotlight. i want just the edge of that figure to be splashed with a soft glow/color of the spotlight.

do you know what i'm trying to do?
how would i do this???

again, it will just be a fine edge type of glow and it wont be on all parts of the figure either, just selected parts.
thanks!

Not really sure what you mean? But if i get your drift you could try applying a photo filter of your choice, reducing the capacity to a desired affect and then applying a mask to it and filling with black. Then just select a soft edged brush and selecting white as your foreground colour whilst having the mask selected simply brush back in the areas where you want the effect. You could vary the opacity of the brush to acheive a uneven fall of light on the subject. Hop e this helps.
