Clone tool
My clone refused to work either in CS, or 7. I have re-installed them but they still won't work. I did get to use the healing tool ( for one day) .It too has stopped working. Any suggestions? Robert |

There are a few things to check. The first would be the opacity of the brush and the blend mode (usually Normal). Is it happening on every document or one in particular? _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |

I've struggled with the same problem until I figured out that I accidently had the selection tool highlighting about a 2 pixel area. Impossible to see the marching ants. But It was enough to refuse me from using the quick mask and healing tool. Try clicking on the Rectangular markee tool (M on the keyboard) and click anywhere on your canvas. If the history pallet says "deselect," then your problem may have been solved. If not, I hope for the best!
