Didn't mean to save THAT!! ![]() I've got a completed project ready for proof. Client wanted both color and black & white print. So, I flattened the layers, desaturated, and printed. The problem is when I closed Photoshop, it asked me whether or not I wanted to save the flattened PSD file. I accidentally clicked yes! .... .. ...NOOOOO!!! Did I lose all that work and am I stuck with only a Black and White Proof?!? How could I retrieve that file??? Chris Windows/Photoshop CS2 |

Re: Didn't mean to save THAT!! ![]() Unfortunately, I think the answer is you can't. Once it's saved, it's saved. _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |

Re: Didn't mean to save THAT!! ![]() Still, look on the bright side. ...er... sorry, there is no bright side... For future reference, no need to flatten before making a B&W proof. Set the foreground colours to black and white, and add a Gradient Map adjustment layer at the top of the layer stack. |

Re: Didn't mean to save THAT!! ![]() If it's any consolation, the second time you do a job it will be much easier - and frequently better. I speak from experience! |
