merging layers and still leave copy
Is there a way to merge visible layers, but still leave the original separate layers intact so that you can produce different versions of a merged image? |

Re: merging layers and still leave copy
Hmm, what version of PS? I know it works on 7 and CS2. You can also achieve the same effect by doing the following: Create a new layer. Hold the Alt/Opt key and keep holding it. Click the fly-out menu on the layer palette. Select Merge Visible. _________________ If you hold on to the past, sooner or later you'll lose your grip. |

David, Is there a place where we can find all those "3-key holding" shortcuts? I love those and this one is particularily useful. _________________ |
