hey steve, i hope you dont mind that i am posting a question about illustrator in the forum. i need some help. i am taking illustrator class and i am looking for some good books that will help me to get into it and do better. casue there are some different between photoshop and illustrator and now when i know some tricks with photoshop i getting hard time to find how to do it in illustrator. may be you steve can recommend me a book. i wish you had something like how to cheat in illustrator. may be you guys can help me... |

Hi Eyal, I have just a couple of books on my shelf on Illustrator (around 12 on Photoshop!!!) You could do worse than try 'The Illustrator Bible' which runs through how all the tools work and gives you a basis from which to work. The other is 'The Illustrator WOW Book" which is probably in its CS2 version by now. This is packed with some interesting basic images and techniques that will take you on to bigger things. Gordon |
