deleting a selection
Once you save a selection, how do you delete it?

They are just stored as channels. Delete them as you would delete a channel

You can even create them as channels in the first place if you want and they will appear in the "Load Selection" dialog box.

Just go back to the Select Menu, you can choose Delete Selection from there.

For people still groping with the basics of Photoshop Paul that is somewhat ambiguous: perhaps better to say "...as you would delete an unwanted Alpha channel". Deleting one of the main Channels is not to be recommended .
