before and after
I want to send out a before/ after shot on email, probably as a PDF. Is there a way of clicking on the before shot to reveal the after shot? Cheers Chris |

Re: before and after
I think David Asch has this feature on his webpage. It may require some sort of code. http://blacksilverpurple.net/ |

Re: before and after
Thanks Tank What I want to do is how Dave has his images set up on his site - but I can't figure out how to do it! Is there any way of contacting Dave on his email? Chris |

Re: before and after
Hi Chris. I noticed that Dave's email is on his site. You can send him an email there. It looks to me like he is just posting a thumbnail, and assigning it as a link to his larger picture, which is easy to do in html. Just set the image as and anchor. Are you wanting to do this on a web page? |

Re: before and after
Hi Chris, The before and after images on the site are created with Javascript - they're just rollovers with the code altered slightly so it's not automatic and has to be clicked. I'm not sure if there's a way to do this in PDFs. If there is, it's almost certain that you would need the full version of Acrobat. Personally, I would create a single image comprising the before and after where the finished article is overlaid with a smaller, offset version of the source image. That way, it's seen instantly. ![]() _________________ A happy-go-lucky chap, always dressed in black |

Re: before and after
Hi Guys I want people to open the email to see the before image, and click on it to reveal the after image. Is this quite difficult to do? |

Re: before and after
Not on a web page. Dreamweaver has built-in scripts and they're readily available elsewhere. _________________ If you hold on to the past, sooner or later you'll lose your grip. |
