Who changed my design?!
I've designed a layout in Illustrator CS2 at the newspaper; Saved the file as both .AI & .EPS. The .eps is imported into Quark for the Press. If there are changes to the ad, I use the .ai file and update the .eps version. The result automatically updates in Quark. My proplem is that some bugger changed my .eps file and not the .ai. When working with the .eps file, all the images are embedded. Is there a feature in Illustrator similar to the "Edit Original" button when trying to tell Illustrator to open an image in Photoshop? Also, is there a way to extract the images from the .eps file into a designated folder, and have Illustrator 'link' to those files? (That way I can use batch processing, etc. for all the images.) Warm Regards, Chris |
