Denied Access
Hi I have opened CS2 then Browse which takes me into Bridge I then choose Pictures and I get "Denied Access" I am running the
MS Vista Home Premium has anyone any clue as to why ???
By the way everytime I try to log onto HtoCIP forum I have to re-register with a new name and number or I get Whoops This is on all occasions.Hope you cas help.

By the sound of it, it's not CS2/Bridge causing the problem, it's Vista itself. Is this a fresh install or an upgrade from 2000 or XP? I would say it's likely to be down to the file system permissions.

I'm not sure why the forum isn't letting you in. If you haven't saved the login details, it may be because you're using capital initials. For some reason, a recent update changed the format to all lower case. Your name will still appear capitalised, however.

It's probably the UAC (User Account Control) It's always popping up and saying stuff.

I had to turn it off completely to install CS2 in the first place. Lots of denied messages.

Go into the control panel and type UAC in the search on the top right. Follow the prompts to turn off UAC.

It should work ok then.

I turned mine back an again because it seems like agood idea.

Hi, Thanks Paul and David.I found the problem,it was my twin grandchildren.Whilst Grandad was away for a second they thought they would add and subtract those little green crosses throughout
the CS 2 program WOW what a mess!!!!! All now sorted.Tell you what it increases the knowledge.
