Fur Troubles
I'm trying to place the bamboo behind the panda and log. Unfortunately, when I cut or extract the panda and place it on a new layer the panda's fur looks too clean-cut. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Bamboo - http://www.whitecrocodile.com/bamboo.jpg Panda - http://www.whitecrocodile.com/panda.jpg |

Re: Fur Troubles
Hi jwhite, this is what I did using the background eraser and the eraser in about 15 minutes. I used the background eraser with a sensitivity of about 25%, checked Protect Foreground colour and sampled the foreground often as I went along. I this something you were shooting for? ![]() _________________ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Fur Troubles
I'd say this is a perfect candidate for the Smudge tool, John! |

Re: Fur Troubles
Thanks Whaler & Steve, I don't normally use the background eraser but will have to give it a try. |

Re: Fur Troubles
I created two masks using a duplicated blue channel. One mask to separate the white fur and another to separate the black fur. I separated the white first since there is less of it. Marty ![]() |

Download some fur brushes or make your own. _________________ Look upwards and share the wonders that I see. |
