How do you find an art editor?
What's the best way to track down an art editor? Approach the magazine direct or let an agent do it? |

Steve is certainly your best source of info for this one but I'd say that contacting the magazine's editor would be the best bet. _________________ Leap and the net will appear |

Re: How do you find an art editor?
Check the magazine's website first - you'll sometimes find lists of employees there. Failing that, pick up a copy of the mag, and the art editor will be listed in the 'flannel panel' which is usually near the front or right at the back of the mag. If all else fails, phone the switchboard and ask them! Remember - this time it's personnel. |

Re: How do you find an art editor?
Yes, you can get an agent, but you'll need to have some published work to show them before they'll want to take you on. Also, bear in mind that they typically take 30% of any job they get for you! |
