Dual Brush
I'm trying to create some new brushes and I like the idea of the dual brush but I don't understand how it works. How do you control which brushes to combine? Is it the brush you already have selected and then selecting an additional brush from the brush select list? I'm sure it's a lot easier than it sounds but I have never seen the dual brush creation in any brush creation tutorials. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to make my own brush, I'm just trying to customize existing brushes. Thanks in advance! _________________ Steve Mac |

Re: Dual Brush
Steve, Yes, the currently selected brush is one of the brush tips. Keep in mind though that you can change the currently selected brush from within the brush palette at any time using either the "brush presets" or "brush tip shape" tabs. If you don't like the way the second brush tip is interacting with the other brush tip, you can switch either tip to another. The secondary brush tip is selected from the "dual brush" tab. the sliders and controls on that panel affect how the secondary brush behaves. Experiment with the mode setting in the dual brush panel as that will affect how the tips interact. |
