Fees
Hi All This is not a problem, but it is PS related. I'm (hopefully) about to land my first freelance commission and I'm not sure what to charge. The job is for 36 shots, and the model has to be cut out and put on a white background. It's slightly tricky cut-out work (hair to cut out) but I was thinking of charging £20 a shot. Does this sound reasonable or should I offer discount for bulk? Grateful (as always) for any advice. Chris |

Re: Fees
Interesting question. I sometimes get approached by magazines asking for a price for a job, then for another price when they say it's going to be every issue. I tell them I'm not a supermarket, and they're not buying tins of beans. Doing 36 shots doesn't make them any easier! |

Re: Fees
Hi Steve I've just spoken to a photographer who said the same thing. As it's (potentially) my first major job, I want to make sure I don't upset them or underprice me! I'll remember the tins of beans quote - spot on. Cheers Chris |
