inaccessible files
A little help needed here, when trying to open recently created files I’m being denied access. The following message pops up. “Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop.” This means I am losing files. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Help would be appreciated. |

Re: inaccessible files
Hi James Daft question, but have you checked the file extension, i.e add .jpg? Nick |

Hi James, You could try deleting the Photoshop preferences file. Here are the instructions. http://forums.adobe.com/thread/375776 rufus |

Re: inaccessible files
You did not mention what the file extension was. This might help in solution. |

I've followed your suggestions, but have achieved no success in finding the cause. My solution has been to delete and recreate the files {psd}, a bit laborious. I can only hope the problem does not recur. Thank you for the link Rufus, saved for future referral. Your interest is appreciated. |
