Animations; Frames to layers.
I am experiencing an annoying problem each time I create a new frame in the animations pallet; the word Frame and corresponding number appear in the layers pallet. Easy enough to remove, but should one forget, as I frequently do, the pallet becomes a little crowded. Should there be a remedy for this I would be pleased to know of it

That's odd. Has this just started happening? Can you post a screen shot so we can see what's going on?

Thank you for replying, I’ve been trying to resolve the problem for several weeks. I’m afraid I don’t know how to post a screen shot .Sorry.

Well, I can tell you how to do it on a Mac... but I suspect you're a Windows user. Prnt Scrn anyone?

Its not obvious James. If have PC you have to use "Prnt Scrn".
Two ways.
-If you press with Alt it will copy the window you are on,
-wiithout Alt your whole screen is copied.
So this goes into your copy/paste memory. Open another new image window e.g. in PS and press CRTL V. (Paste).
Take your new screen image and send to us as normal e.g.

Re: Animations; Frames to layers.
Hello James,
I had a quick trawl on the help menu and found this:
Make sure the Animation panel is in frame animation mode.
From the Animation panel menu, choose Create New Layer For each New Frame. A check mark indicates that the option is turned on.
I tried it and got exactly what you have been talking about. Now all I've got to do is learn how to do animations!
Hope this sorts it.
