refine edge
When opening the Refine Edge box on page 16 (the cat) the box matches the one shown in the book. When opening the Refine Edge box for page 18 (hard text), I get the same dialogue box as previous and not the one shown in the book with the channels on the bottom. How do I get that dialogue box? I made sure I had a selection tool on but I still can't get the same dialogue box as shown in the book and on the video clip. |

Hi, I think this came up in a previous post. The Refine Edge dialog box that you see for the Hard Text page is actually CS3 and not CS6 which is what I presume you are using. I think Steve is amending this for his new book. |

See the 'user coin' at the right-top of pages 17 and 19, respectively CS5 and CS3 required. Problebly Steve shows this to kinds of Photoshop dialogs, so more users would recognize this two Refine Edge workarounds. Allways read the small text strips (HOT TIP), which are full of usefull extra info! |
