Turning this image into a boxed canvas effect
Sorry I did post this in the general forum looking for an action for this but feel its proberly best suited in here as Steve said it can be done manually, sadly I'm not too adapt yet at photoshop and just would appreciated a step by step of what I need to do, I've posted the image I want turning in a canvas shape, something showing the right and side of the canvas and the main like it had been gallery wrapped. Cheers for any help in advance. Phil |

I do not understand what it is you wish to do to the picture. |

Phil - it's essentially the same process as is described in the book, in the section Building Boxes in the Third Dimension chapter. Have you tried that technique? …Martin, junipaire is referring to a post he made earlier in the General Comments section, where he explains what he wants. |

Re: Turning this image into a boxed canvas effect
I cut the original image into 3 sections, the top and each of the sides. Moved the pieces onto a new canvas and then moved them around , transformed and skewed until they fit. Added a drop shadow. |

Re: Turning this image into a boxed canvas effect
Those are looking really good - great perspective effects, and the shadows work reallt well. I'd make the edges a little darker, though, to accentuate the geometry. |

Ok, i got all excited, thinking i could do this bit, but then realised i couldn't I did the cut out effect to make it look more painted, then texturised it _________________ Quote From Family Guy: 2 Plus 2 is Foourrr, 2 Plus 2 is Foourrr, 2 Plus 2 is Foourrr. |
