creating a logo
Hi everyone I created a logo using layer effects (bevel/emboss and stroke) and put it on a pink background. Copied the logo over to a purple background and all the grey tones have gone solid black. Tried making a clipping mask on the pink and putting the wole thing over a purple background which hasn't worked. Am I missing a really simple trick? Don't want to trace it in pen tool unless I really have too! |

Not totally following you on this one Chris. Can you post a screen shot? _________________ Why is there only one word for ‘Thesaurus’? |

It's ok Gordon - have figured it out. When I used layer effects on the type it went transparent in places so when I put it on a different coloured background all the colours changed. So I tried Outer glow and it filled in the transparent areas with the colour I wanted... if that makes sense! Chris |
