Glasses, and Content-Aware
Okay so we know, or must know, content-aware isn't perfect on pictures that don't have the most repeating patterns or similir colour patches.. So, I've been trying to improve my practices in this, and, doing it with glasses is rather difficult, but it's better than any attempts you would make in any other versions. She just looks like she's been punched in the face by Robocop, over and over..

So to carry it on, I'd need to use plain old painting, and getting rid of glasses would probably be easiest to start off with. So here goes..

Ignore the inappropiate URL, and my other URL, is my do-over with Content-Aware spot healing and a few minor fixes with eyes (using the eye on the left of the camera to fix the other)

Any tips on healing her beaten up face?

Better late than never, Jonathan. It's only been fifteen years.

Your first URL no longer exists.

Your second URL gives me this:

First, clean up her LH eye using the Smudge Tool and the Clone Tool, or something similar.

Now you need to cut the image into two halves with the edges going down the exact middle of her nose.

So, using the Rectangular Marquee Tool, create a copy of the LHS of her face as I just described.

Flip the copy horizontally and move it to the RHS so that the new eye exactly covers the old eye.

Add a layer mask to the new layer.

On the layer mask, using a very soft brush at about 50% strength, carefully paint out parts of the new layer, avoiding the damaged parts of the old eye.

Here's my result:

Now you might notice that the highlight in the RH eye is inverted. I will not bother to finish this here,
as it is easy to copy the eyeall and flip it horizontally.
