STRAIGHTENING !!
Attached , I hope, is a picture of Chesterfield church which as you can see has a very crooked spire !! It vears about 9 feet out of true at the top with a very severe twist. It has been like this for hundreds of years and is still very safe !!
My problem is that I would like to make the tower less distorted, due to the position that I took the photo, in order to display the tower. Thanks in advance.

Re: STRAIGHTENING !!
This is only a quick effort Neale, but I selected the tower only, copied it to a new layer and then used free transform (Ctrl + T) to distort it into shape. The perspective distort is useful here - within free transform hold down Ctrl + Shift + Alt and drag one of the corners. Then tidied up the edges with a layer mask and cloned the bottom of the tower to hide the 'break'.

Re: STRAIGHTENING !!
Is this what you are looking for? I used the lens correction filter, in the Distort menu to do this. Although you could do it with transform as well.

Thanks Dave, Yours is the ideal that I was looking for, I didn't think of using the lens correction filter. Thanks neale
