analize
hi i was sent a picture and was asked, if possible, to tell whether the picture is fake or not..well it looks fake to me and the only way i think i can "prove" it is by using the Unsharp Mask filter: when draggin the Amount slider all the way to the right, some noise appears around the flying object...and it is against an almost pure white background..! in my opinion it means that the object was not carefully insterted and those imperfections are what the Filter reveals.. anyway since the original pic is low res i dont think there is too much info to work with.? or is there? any thoughts would be really appreciated thanks |

I think we may have to send this one to SETI (Search for Extraterristrial Intelligence) for thorough examination but as a lay person on UFO's Im staking everything I own that its a fake |

Re: analize
Yes, it's a fake. There are several ways you can tell: 1. When you zoom in on it you can just see coloured blocking around it, of a different texture to the rest of the image. 2. Darkening in Curves accentuates the blocking, which is clearly of a different order to the blocking around the edges of the clouds. 3. If you look really closely, you can see it's a picture of a flying saucer. There's no such thing as flying saucers. |
