CS3 Questions
Folks is there anyway a brush can be rotated once applied to the canvas? Can a shape, be it a custom shape or any other shape, be converted into a path for text to follow? If these questions can be answered in Steve's book plz point me in the right direction. Thanks |

Re: CS3 Questions
When you define a custom brush, you can set the angle of the brush to follow the direction of the stroke. I discuss this briefly in the section on custom brushes in the book - covered in more detail in the fifth edition (the CS4 version) where I show how to make a sewing stitch that follows the angle of the stroke. In that case it's a Pen path, so yes - you can make a brush follow any path. As to turning a shape into a path - yes, make a selection and choose Make Work Path from the pop-up menu on the Paths panel. Sorted! |
